"Rudy" - An abusive & neglectful previous owner wasn't very kind to him.
She had him mostly as a "yard art
" where he lived outside most of his life. He came to the
shelter heavily matted with infected eyes and ears. He's
all
good, now. About 9 yrs old, this boy is still a quick learner. He knows, "sit", "down", "stay" & is willing to learn more. Until he came to a foster home with other dogs, Rudy had never been with other dogs. He seems to be fine - unless food or chew-boys are in sight. Doesn't Rudy tug at YOUR heart strings? "Charlie" is a fun bundle of athletic energy for being 9 yrs old.
He LOVES kids, cats we haven't tried. Got a couch that needs a professional snuggler? Then Charlie's your man! He's also loyal and quite a character. Ever the sharp watch-dog, he barks when someone approaches but settles down right away. Altho blind in his right eye, Charlie doesn't let it get in his way to slow him down one bit.
